It is preferred in IPM for that the Trichoderma harzianum rifai strain KRL-AG2 produces some antibiotic compounds; makes the plant more resistant against soil borne pathogens; incites the natural defence mechanisms of the plant and boosts the plant growth. It is used widely in Europe and USA and is licenced in Turkish Republic, since 1999.
